Lost Planet 2 Benchmarking - Radeon HD 5850 vs GeForce GTX 460 1GB
Legit Reviews has benchmarked Lost Planet 2 with the Radeon HD 5850 and GeForce GTX 460 1GB video card

Last week, we took a look the DirectX 11 Benchmark for the game Mafia 2 and this week we have yet another new DirectX 11 benchmark for you now that the Lost Planet 2 benchmark has been released. The Lost Planet 2 standalone benchmark is tough on video cards and compare an ATI Radeon HD 5850 to the MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB video card to see how the game runs!

When it comes to DirectX 11 performance the MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB video card proved to be faster than the ATI Radeon HD 5850 in Lost Planet 2. It also wins on the price front as the MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB video card runs $259.06 shipped, which is nearly $31 less than the MSI Radeon HD 5850 video card as it runs $289.99 shipped. It looks like ATI needs to get their fall 'refresh' out the door as NVIDIA has finally passed ATI up when it comes to DX11 performance...

The Exclusive First Look at the BFG Tech Radeon Graphics Card
PC Perspective posted a first look at the BFG Tech Radeon Graphics Card

Rumors of BFG Tech attempting to move over to AMD production after an apparent split with NVIDIA have been swirling for months now. Today, we received proof that this partnership almost sprang wings. Come see the first pictures of the BFG Tech Radeon HD 5750, may it rest in peace.

Best Buy was BFG’s biggest customer, and when BFG stopped producing significant amounts of graphics cards, it seems that Best Buy dropped them altogether. If this product had launched, then it might have meant that Best Buy would have thrown a lifeline to BFG for
their graphics cards, power supplies, and perhaps their desktops and laptops. It had been rumored that BFG was looking to AMD to continue to be a presence in the graphics card market, and here is proof that they almost pulled off that partnership.

Buffalo Terastation Duo TS-WXL Review
KitGuru takes a look at the Terastation Duo WXL

The Terastation Duo is aptly named, as it supports a dual hard drive configuration with RAID 0 and RAID 1 hot drive support. Additionally if a drive does fail it will automatically power it down for safe removal and replacement. There is also a nifty replication function which allows the connection of a second Terastation Duo via the USB or LAN port to replicate the data for further peace of mind, offering fault tolerance. There is AES-128 data encryption, Jumbo frame support and you can trunk the dual ethernet ports for added performance.

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 4GB AMD Black Edition Dual Channel Kit Review
Vortez.co.uk posted a review on the OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 4GB AMD Black Edition Dual Channel Kit

Here in the UK OCZ memory is amongst the most popular brand besides the likes of Corsair. Stores like Scan, Overclockers UK, ebuyer, ARIA, CCL and others always stock this brand of memory. It's a firm favourite with hardware enthusiasts and has national (and international) recognition for being affordable and solid in performance.

The kit we are taking a look at today is designed for the AMD platform, and more rightly - the AMD Black Edition of CPU's. The idea is that this memory kit will compliment such a setup. We will be allowing it to unleash it's true potential on the 890FX chipset accompanied by an AMD X6 1055T. The perfect combination.

The OCZ Black Edition series are deemed as special edition and come in two flavours CL7 or CL8. The kit we will be looking at is a CL8 4GB Dual Channel kit rated at PC3-12800 that is - 1600MHz. It's timings come as 8-8-8-24 at 1.65v.
