Memory Tweak Guide on the VIA Apollo Pro

VIAHardware has posted a feature on Tweaking the memory of the VIA Apollo Pro and VIA Apollo Pro A chipsets using WPCREDIT and WPCREST.
This chipset has historically been tagged as a bad memory performer. The hope was that as motherboard bios revisions came out, memory scores would improve. So far this has been the case, but not as fast or as good as many users would have liked. I was hoping I would not have to write a follow up feature on memory tweaking. Why? Because I was hoping motherboard manufactures would have improved the bios enough to call it a "mature" chipset. The VIA Apollo Pro A chipset has matured greatly since its debut, but like anything in the hardware world, there is always room for tweaking.
