The unit contains a temperature controlled fan, but even in the 85°F testing environment, the supply was still barley audible over the test systems other fans and drives. The unit feels very sturdy and sports a flashy metallic textured paint job over its aluminum chassis that with its rounded edges gives it a kind of streamlined look. There is also a rear LCD panel for monitoring voltage, watts, and temperature that adds a blue glow to the system.
