Wireless input devices have always been an issue with home theater PC’s. While there are plenty of PC remote controls such as the ATI Remote Wonder series, iMon, Media Center Remote, etc… they all lack one convenience aspect—an easy text input method. Text input is useful when it comes to renaming files, searching for songs, video files, etc… Sure there are wireless keyboards available but they’re either full-size desktop keyboards are miniaturized keyboards and lack the living room “feel.” Microsoft devised a pseudo solution for HTPC text input using a cell-phone tap-style text input method with the Media Center remote.
