Mushkin Redline XP4000 DDR Ram Review @ Xtreme Resources

Posted by Philipp Esselbach on: 06/08/2005 05:12 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

XtremeResources takes a look today at Mushkin's latest high performance DDR offering, their Redline XP4000 ram modules.

Mushkin Redline XP4000 is most definitely very high speed, high quality double data rate memory. When combined in a dual channel kit, with the usage of a high powered DFI LANParty motherboard such as the DFI SLI-DR this memory will scream to heights previously unfathomable. What I found truly remarkable about the Mushkin Redline XP4000 DDR 1GB memory kit, was the ability to not only reach very high front side bus speeds, but at incredibly tight timings as well. With rated timings of 2-2-2-6 at 500MHz DDR - the memory is already very fast. As evidenced by my benchmark testing, this memory will attain even higher scaling - as you can see by the results posted running DDR550 at CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS memory timings of 1.5-2-2-5.
