Slautech has reviewed the Netgear RP114 Cable/DSL Router.
Most routers have a degree of firewall capabilities built in providing online security, but a rather interesting feature of this particular router is the software that gives it its “Web Safe Router” name. Accessed through the same software set-up menu it allows you to block access to websites based on keywords. It can be set up to block sites only at a certain time of day, or day of the week, and can allow one of the PC’s on the network full access. It can also e-mail a log of all attempts to access blocked pages to any e-mail address you set it up to use.Read more
