There are tons of articles all over the Internet on how to share your Internet connection. Unfortunately, most of them are either too simple or too advanced. With this article I will try and sum up your options for getting a LAN going at home and sharing an Internet connection on it while avoiding the above pitfalls. For the sake of brevity I am going to focus on the Windows side of things. If any of you have questions about the other OS's out there then let us know and we'll do another article on those too. Windows is the OS that most have questions about when it comes to home networking though, so that is what I am going to focus on. But before we even get to sharing your connection you have to have a LAN to connect.
