EnvyNews has posted a new Hitachi 7K250 Firmware

Thanks to one of our forum members, Envy News has obtained updated firmware that addresses the drive calibration noise issue found with many Hitachi 7K250 hard drives. This is unofficial/unsupported firmware but some users may find the tradeoff worth it to solve their noise problems.
