Seems the battle of graphics card continues a pace. Long gone thankfully are the days, not that long ago when Nvidia had the graphics market all to themselves. No competition then.

So now to compete with the all powerful ATI Radeon X1800 XT Nvidia are pumping out this latest GeForce 7800 version, the 7800 GTX 512. Is it us or are they just competing for the most expensive graphics card. And what about the cost with two GeForce 7800 GTX 512 running in SLI. Don't answer that. But while this 512 version graphics card will not be for the majority us and for some never it does help the progress of graphics cards.

We remember not that many years ago when 4MB memory on a graphics card was a lot while next year we will be looking at 1GB of memory on a graphics card. But out of this battle between ATI and Nvidia we will all get better performance and better picture quality. So long may the battle continue.
