BenQ EX3501R Ultrawide HDR Monitor Review

Our verdict of the BenQ EX3501R:With absolutely unbelievable performance, and a totally bonkers 35 inch screen, the only bad thing about the EX3501R is the price.910BenQs EX3501R is an insane, 21:9, 35-inch, curved ultrawide monitor. Sporting USB Type-C, HDR, 100Hz refresh rate, and a 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution, lets see if its worth the $899 price tag. Thanks to BenQ, weve got one of these stunning EX3501R monitors to giveaway! All you have to do is enter our contest at the end of this review.

Creative Sound BlasterX G6 7.1 External Gaming Audio DAC Review

Sound cards come in many shapes and sizes and have changed quite a bit since the early days of computing. Just about every motherboard comes with a sound card onboard and for many of the audio solutions are a major selling point of the board. For the casual gamer rocking a custom PC the onboard solution is usually good enough. However, as a hardware and audio enthusiast the stock just won’t do and Creative has two very awesome solutions for the audio dilemma.

We have reviewed both of these solutions before. The first was the Sound BlasterX G5 followed by the Sound BlasterX AE-5 and In terms of specifications these products are very similar. They both feature DAC level audio processing and are controlled by the Sound Blaster Connect software package. Despite the similarities the BlasterX AE-5 is designed to be a PC based audio processor supporting RGB LED lighting and ports to power external desktop speakers and connect to front panel controls. On the flip side the BlasterX G5 is an external audio solution for gaming headphones with the typical usage being game consoles, PCs and mobile devices.

Crucial P1 NVMe 1TB and 500GB Review

Considering Micron is the parent company for Crucial, it may come as a surprise that they hadn’t actually introduced a consumer-focused NVMe drive up until this past month. There was the Ballistix TX3 that they showed off at Computex back in 2016, but it was canceled, making Crucial one of the last companies to jump into the NVMe market. So the name for their NVMe is fitting, they call it the P1. They are using four bit per cell QLC NAND like the Intel 660p and they aren’t aiming for the top end of the market with this drive. This is more of an entry level NVMe drive and I’m excited to see what kind of performance you can expect at a price point that people are more likely to look to spend. So today I’m going to take a look at what makes the drive tick then look at its performance before then seeing where it fits in the market.
