This kit offers a whopping 2 GIGs of DDR Dual Channel Memory. The average computer user only needs 1GIG for current Operating Systems, Applications Games. Although some users who require extreme multitasking, or use super memory intensive software, will definitely use it. The timings are a little high at 3-3-3-8 but it does overclock to 490MHz DDR.
