OCZ Onyx 32gb Solid State Drive Review
Dreamweare Computers posted a review on the OCZ Onyx 32gb Solid State Drive

Solid state drives are expensive, and they're a big change from what we've come to accept a hard drive to be in a computer. For some, it's easy to rush out and buy the latest SSD model and away they go. For others, investing in the high price tag of a solid state drive when they aren't gaining much storage space can be a tough battle. Up until now, to get even a 30gb SSD would often cost over $130CDN - a price I could buy a 2+ Terabyte hard drive for. However, OCZ has recently released their Onyx series - a new line of SSD's aimed to bring the basic benefits of this technology to users at a cost they can afford. I'm lucky enough to have a 32gb Onyx on the test bed today, and look forward to having some first-hand experience with this new model.

VisionTek Radeon HD 5550 1GB PCIe Review
Reviewstash.com posted a review on the VisionTek Radeon HD 5550 1GB PCIe video card

The graphics card market is almost entirely centered on creating the fastest, high-yield (except in the case of fermi) products possible. Not everyone, however, needs the hottest running, graphics cycle crunching product available. Yet, thanks to the research done to produce those aforementioned high-end enthusiast graphics cards, new technology is made available to simultaneously make more efficient low-end video processing products. Thus, through AMD's 40nm "Evergreen" manufacturing process (known for such monsters as the HD 5970), the ultra efficient HD 5550 video card has been developed. It's a low-profile video card that still manages to pack 320 stream processors, AMD's Unified Video Decoder, Dolby over HDMI, and DirectX 11, with a maximum load of 45 Watts (minuscule compared to the 5970's 300 Watt load). Today, we are going to evaluate VisionTek's branded HD 5550, a video card that differs from the reference board by using 1GB of GDDR2 (instead of GDDR3 or 5). The card does, however, have an actively cooled heatsink, a feature that is removed from many of the other 5550 cards. Read on to discover if VisionTek has the HTPC, workstation, slimline, and low-budget gaming card that the market deserves!

Arctic Cooling Arctic M551 Laser Gaming Mouse Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Arctic Cooling Arctic M551 Laser Gaming Mouse

I have to be honest, when I agreed to review two mice for Bob the thought never occurred to me that they would be from Arctic Cooling, a company known for, well cooling products. They have released two mice that are geared to “professional gamers and experienced users”, the Artic M551 and Artic M571. Today we will be putting the Artic M551 through its paces.

Icy Dock MB982IP-1S Full Metal 2.5" to 3.5" SAS & SATA Hard Drive & SSD Converter Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the Icy Dock MB982IP-1S Full Metal 2.5" to 3.5" SAS & SATA Hard Drive & SSD Converter

The Icy Dock MB982IP-1S Full Metal 2.5 to 3.5" Enclosure takes any 2.5" SATA drive and converts into a full 3.5" format. The Icy Dock MB982IP-1S is entirely metal and follows the Icy Dock modus operandi of easy installation without tools. With the outside matching both the size format as well as the screw placements of a standard 3.5" drive, the MB982IP-1S can be installed in nearly anything that can be used with a 3.5" drive from installing in your case, NAS, server or anything you can think of.

Thermaltake BlacX 5G HDD Dock Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Thermaltake BlacX 5G HDD Dock

At the 2008 CES, Thermaltake introduced a novel idea in the category of external storage, the hard drive dock. The BlacX dock supported either 2½" or 3½" SATA drives via a hot-swap, plug-in interface and featured USB 2.0 connectivity. It was an instant success. Although many other manufacturers would soon develop their own versions of the external drive dock, Thermaltake continued to refine their original design with subsequent models that added support for a 4-port USB hub, dual drives and finally eSATA. The item we have for review today represents the latest in the evolution of Thermaltake's drive dock, the BlacX 5G.

Roccat Kone + Review
XSReviews posted a review of the Roccat Kone + gaming mouse.

While there are many firms that come and go in the PC hardware word (Vvikoo being one of them) XSR has always done it's best to represent the new guys as fairly as the more established. While this does give us a warm glow in our bellies it also allows us to watch future high end players grow from a small startup to something massive; Roccat is one such company. Delivering solid products at almost every turn and despite huge delays on certain hardware, they've managed to carve themselves a nice share of the the already heavily populated gaming peripheral market.

Today I take a look at their latest mouse, a revamp on what has become a classic. It adds all the new innovations that Roccat has come up with since the rodent's initial outing, as well as updating the sensor to bring it to a rediculous 6000DPI. Ladies and gentleman feast your eyes and palms on the Roccat Kone +, a monster of a mouse with an impressive feature list.
