Thanks Gardner. Handspring has released a Windows XP compatible version of Palm Desktop.

Visor handhelds require Palm Desktop version 4.0.1 to synchronize with Windows XP Home and Windows XP Pro editions. A new version of the Palm Desktop 4.0.1 installer was posted on 19th November 2001 which addresss installation issues with the original release of Palm Desktop 4.0.1. The installer is called: PalmDesktop_401Hb.exe. All Palm powered handhelds now share the same level of synchronization functionality under Windows XP.
