Pariah Review

Elite Bastards posted a new game review on Pariah

In the year following Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half Life 2, the infamy bar is set quite high for any new first person shooter set to enter store shelves. Not fearing its predecessors, Digital Extremes presents their new creation, Pariah. Because of what seems like a weird last minute change to the plot, you are not going to fight impending nuclear explosion. Instead, some kind of infection seems to be on the loose. There also seems to be some kind of war going on and pretty much everyone in the world seems to be behaving nasty towards our hero, Dr Jack Mason.

It seems like Digital Extremes has played their copy of Halo through once or twice - Energy regeneration, physics, checkpoint saving system, level architechture and even some of the weapons and the musical score at certain points is like some kind of weird mix of Unreal II and "Halo Lite". I could end the review having said that and you would already have quite a good impression of what the game is like, but I still have some things to say about this game so bear with me!
