Patriot's new multi-layer Torqx SSD features the Indilinx 'Barefoot' controller, and promises some very fast performance numbers, particularly with Write operations. The Torqx is the latest in their product lineup, and the performance claims sound impressive. We'll pit it against some of the fastest traditional hard disk drives, and also alongside Intel's renowned X-25M SSD, and see if this Patriot Torqx SSD has the horsepower to keep pace with the front runners.
