Hardcoreware has put up a new editorial PC Gaming: The Lost Genres
After the disappointing release of Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Single Player, at least), it is beginning to seem more than ever that besides the odd release, gone are the days of unique PC games.
In this Editorial, we try to figure out why no publishers are reluctant in allowing their talent to create games to their full potential. We even talk to Introversion, a private game developer who shares our frustration, and have even self-published the unique 'hacker sim' title, Uplink.
