Arozzi Arena Gaming Desk Review

The Arozzi Arena is a full-surface mousepad desk featuring a good cable management system and plenty of space. Both gamers and normal users will appreciate the advantages that this computer desk offers, while the lack of electric height adjustment isn't necessarily a con, since it helps with pricing.

HP Omen X Emperium 65 Review

HP is hoping to offer gamers the best of both world with its Omen X Emperium 65. Although HP is careful not to call the Omen X Emperium 65 a television, per se, there's no escaping that fact that this is a massive display that would be more at home in your living room, den, or bonus room than your average computer desk.

The Omen X Emperium measures a massive 65 inches diagonally, which puts it squarely in big-screen 4K HDTV territory. However, it borrows technology from the gaming world that we don't see in typical consumer-grade televisions, like NVIDIA G-SYNC and support for 144Hz refresh rates, for example...

Latest Windows 10 Update Is Causing ‘Black Screen’ Boot Error

Keeping your operating system up to date is an important part of any regular PC maintenance to ensure that the system is running under the most recent (and usually most stable) version. In addition, it also ensures that you are provided with all of the latest security information to help protect your computer from unwelcome intrusions.

In a report via GHacks, however, the latest patch released for Windows 10 (including Windows Server 2019) is causing a rather unusual error. Namely, that the next time you turn your PC on, you are greeted with a black screen at boot up.

Seagate Backup Plus Portable 5TB & Backup Plus Slim 2TB Review

Hard drives continue to remain the storage media of choice for cost-conscious consumers with bulk storage requirements. HDD vendors have typically used their 2.5" drives for bus-powered high-capacity models. This market segment has been stuck at the 4TB mainstream capacity point for a few years now, with the z-height of the models coming in at well over 15mm. Earlier this year, Seagate announced an update to their massive 5TB Backup Plus Portable, while also introducing a new svelte 2TB Backup Plus Slim external hard drive. Both of them adopt SMR platters (similar to the Backup Plus models being sold since late 2016), and given the performance impact of SMR, today well be taking a detailed look at how SMR in bus-powered hard drives behaves for consumer workloads.
