Amd World has put up a review on the Pentium 4 1.7GHz Processor

Intel has we know are probably the largest supplier at present of home computer processors but not without some competitiveness from AMD and over the last few years we have seen many releases from both manufacturers. During 2001 AMD came forth with there XP series of processors with some very strong marketing that quite frankly put the Pentium 4 series of processors to shame in there advertising and media releases.
