The never appeared on any roadmap from Intel and was presented to the worldwide press just afew days before the new Athlon 64 CPUs from AMD: The Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition.As a small appetizer on this CPU we would like to present you the performance of this 2MB L3-cache monster in 27 different benchmark-suits, including several games, 3D-rendering, audio- and video-encoding. The competitors: an Intel Pentium 4 with 3.2GHz, the Athlon 64 3200+ and the Athlon 64 FXX-51.
