The Pertelian X2040 is a USB external LCD display device, which costs a mere $US48.99, but provides a mere 2800 pixels.
Compared with normal monitors that doesn't sound like much, and the X2040 doesn't even have any input capabilities - you control it with keyboard hotkeys.
It's surprisingly useful, though. I think it's quite good value.
