A few years ago, Philips made itself noticed when it created it's Thunderbird soundchip to power their Acoustic Edge soundcard. While this did give another alternative to Creative, there were some support issues with some operating systems. It was a problem, but not quite as big of a problem as it would've been now. Now, Philips has joined Hercules in producing an inexpensive sound card that still sounds good. Like Hercules Muse, Philips Dynamic Edge 4.1 channel sound card is here for those that want better sound, but don't want to shell out $100 for the likes of an Audigy.
