Read results are great, as well as the write and re-write ones. We actually somehow knew what we should expect from CD-R, CD-RW and DVD recording, except 8X DVD+R recording which is absolutely fast. As long as you have compatible media, now it should be a pleasure writing DVDs. True 8X DVD+R media should be soon on shelves. 4X DVD+RW media is also on the way. By then you will have to set to 4X media recommended by Plextor, if you consider burning 8X DVDs.
