Polk AMR 150 Review

PC Review has posted a review on the Polk AMR 150 speakers.
As these speakers are designed to be a cost effective solution (yet still relatively high-end), the emphasis is loaded onto the front speakers as opposed to the rear. From the specifications outlined above, you can see that the front speakers house a 3" Midrange and a 1 1/2" Tweeter driver complement - yet the rear have only a 3" Fullrange.
The extra features on the front satellites gives a great boost in clarity, but helps keep costs with fullrange rear satellites. The rear satellites are not as crisp and sharp sounding, but they donīt need to be, as in games / DVDīs the speech will be coming from the front, only 3D effects will be heard from these rear speakers.
