Okay, we're a bit late to the party. The 9800 XT was announced by ATI just a couple days ago. But don't get too excited! That card won't be in stores for a few weeks, and 3rd parties probably won't have it by the end of the month. So we can still say, "The 9800 Pro 256 is the fastest ATI card you can buy today (literally)" What I want to know is, what kind of benefit do we see from the ridiculous amount of RAM on this card? The core clocks are the same, and the memory is only slightly faster. The 256MB we're testing is around $130 more than the 128MB version, so it's going to take a lot to convince me...
