Last week, I took a look at PQI’s Intelligent Stick Pro 170, which is the world’s smallest USB flash memory device and offered storage capacities up to 2GBs. Today, I am taking a look at another PQI USB flash memory device; this time, it’s their Cool Drive U339 Pro. The Cool Drive U339 Pro comes with a wonderful-sounding software package called USB Notebook that is a personal file management software package. PQI’s Intelligent Stick amazed me with its size-to-performance ratio, and now I sit here wondering if the U339 Pro will hold true to its performance and functionality claims. Let’s take a look at what comes with the Cool Drive U339 Pro, and then we will see if it lives up the claimed performance of an average 25MB/s read speed and 17MB/s write speed.
