PrimeCooler MegaCool 5 AMD Athlon 64 939 & 754, Sempron heatsink review

A1 Electronics posted a PrimeCooler MegaCool 5 AMD Athlon 64 939 754, Sempron heatsink review

Some of you might not know the name of PrimeCooler but we they have been around for some years now producing quality heatsinks and computer peripheral devices. We have been reviewing PrimeCooler products for years as well. We do not get involved with prices but suspect that they are great value for money.

You do not get all the fancy packaging just the basic box, heatsink and thermal paste when you buy a PrimeCooler product.

This example their new MegaCool 5 air cooler is not intended as an ultimate high power heatsink for the AMD Athlon 64 processor but as a general purpose cooler for it is a small compact lightweight heatsiink using a low power fan.

The overall size of this PrimeCooler MegaCool 5 is only 80 x 80 x 45mm high with a 25mm by 80 x 80mm fan sitting on the top which can push out 31 CFM at 2,600 rpm for a noise of 24dBA which we found in our lab test was quiet.
