TheTechLounge posted day 2 of their QuakeCon 2005 coverage
If you read our QuakeCon Day 1 Coverage article, you know that we walked away disappointed and, well… a bit shaken. The problem was that we were excited to see a “Special Presentation” by NVIDIA, but instead we were bombarded with... half-naked dancing men, lame dares and an utter lack of anything we would call ‘special.’ We left that night extremely disappointed. In fact, we were considering driving around Dallas to find something fun to do, but the event was such a downer for us that we didn’t even feel like going out and having fun. We just wanted to post the article, and go to sleep. Truth be told, we wanted to go home, but we decided to give QuakeCon another chance. Luckily, today was much better, and we got a sneak peak of the upcoming DOOM movie, Quake4, and got to hear John Carmack give his keynote. We also swung by the BYOC again and got some more pics of interesting rigs.
