Recycling Your Thru Board Heatsink

BitBender has released a how to article showing how to recycle a thru board heatsink to be used on a motherboard which doesn’t provide hole mounts.
When I opened the box and was looking over the layout, I realized that I had not checked the heatsink mounting info before I ordered the board. Damn! No through-holes on the board to mount my trusty Alpha 8045. Well, if you knew me, you would know that this is not a great problem to overcome. I make my living doing industrial machine design and upgrades.
