RatedPC has posted a review on Samsung 171S TFT LCD display.
The 171S is without a doubt one of the most elegant looking flat panels I have seen out there. Thin, slim, and classy designed perfected with the light silver coating. It is quite surprising to see how thin this LCD is considering that the power supply in actually built in (as opposed to most other LCDs that require an external power pack). As previously mentioned, it has an actual 17 viewable screen, unlike the CRT screens which might be called 19 while the actual viewable screen is about 18 or so. Basically this means that a 17 LCD is very close in viewing area to a 19 CRT.Read more
