The Samsung 170MP monitor is extremely similar to the 150MP, but with a few refinements. The 170MP has a higher contrast ratio, leading to a higher definition of colour. In addition, it has improved horizontal and vertical refresh rates, producing even more stable images at higher resolutions. This monitor has the same sleek look and elegant feel of the 150MP topped with two extra inches. When comparing monitor sizes between CRTs and LCDs you must remember that LCD sizes are correct to the inch, and 17 inches is purely 17 inches measured across the diagonal of the screen. So the Samsung 17” 170MP is comparable in size to a 19 inch CRT monitor, which would make the 170MP a mammoth screen for the average user.Read more
