Accelenation has posted a review on the Samsung Syncmaster 173P display
The portrait mode is very useful when doing word editing and surfing the Internet, because it allows you to view more text (and possibly, the whole document). Rotation is controlled by the "Pivot" software provided, which adds an item in the right click mouse menu as well as a tab in the display properties.
