As I've reported before, many manufacturers have tried and failed to produce the perfect hybrid of a digital still camera and a digital video camera. In theory it shouldn't be too hard; after all they both use the same core technology. They both use compact high-powered zoom lenses, both use rechargeable batteries and both capture their images using CCDs. Howeve
