OCW has posted a review on the Scythe Silent Box 3.5" HDD Enclosure without FAN
Looking for an enclosure that is quiet and cool. Scythe releases model SBX-1000 which serves this purpose. This enclosure fits all 3.5"HDD up to 10K rpm. As it uses a heatlane plate to dissipate the heat within the enclosure, there is no fan thus reduce the noise level. The material is NB BR Rubber Case Aluminum Cover. This definitely makes the enclosure more durable than those plastic made.
