Bytesector has posted a review on the Seagate 7200.7 SATA (NCQ) harddisk
Seagate has always seemed like a small manufacturer in the market. Always right next to Maxtor in the low to mid-end drives, but never quite making it big in the custom parts market. Today though, they are the first to go public with a Serial ATA hard drive that sports an updated queuing function referred to as Native Command Queuing (or NCQ). Seagate has done a great job at bringing this technology to the market without delay. So is the performance significant enough to warrant the purchase of the 7200.7 NCQ SATA hard drive? Let’s find out!
