Explosive Labs has completed a review on the Seagate Barracuda SATA V harddisk.
A few months ago, we at Explosive Labs brought you a preview (and a review for the base platform) of the next-generation storage interface known as Serial ATA (SATA) that will be taking over desktops, laptops and other mainstream applications soon. We have recently witnessed the unveiling of Intel's HT technology, which has been breaking the bottleneck for computing speed. Meanwhile, its component counterpart, hard drives, has continued to pose their own speed barrier. This is why Seagate, Silicon Image, and Intel have been working hand in hand to demo Serial ATA technology at various computer conferences and trade shows.
