Attitude One Almaz Review

Almaz is the new and stylish headset from Attitude One. It features a rather unique and sophisticated design and is compatible with Windows, Android and iOS. Of course being equipped with a standard jack connector you can use it with any audio system you want. be quiet! Dark Rock 3 Review

The be quiet! Dark Rock 3 has several improvements over the previous design, such as improved dynamic wave-contour cooling fins with enhanced cooling area, small dimples on the surface to increase air circulation, six high-performance heat pipes with copper lining and aluminum caps, 190W TDP, and a new arrangement of heat pipes to enhance the cooling capacity. The included single PWM fan quietly gets the job done at stock settings, and even keeps the heat under control with a mild overclock. The diamond-cut aluminum top cap covers the heat pipe stubs, so if you have a case with a side panel window, you can proudly show off the Dark Rock 3.

CM Storm Sirus-C 2.2 PC & PlayStation 4 Gaming Headset

CM Storm, the gaming division of legendary manufacturer Cooler Master is back once again with the release of their Sirus-C 2.2 gaming headset. The Sirus has long been a popular product of CM Storm, but this new model looks to kick things up a notch with improved performance and specifications. Not only is the headset compatible with PC, but also PlayStation 4, making it a tempting purchase for those who love to game on both PC and the latest Sony console.

Priced at a little over £70 from most major online retailers, the Sirus-C isn’t overly expensive, especially given the brand name and the multi format support, so it will be interesting to see how it stacks up to the competition. Especially when you can pick up something like the Turtle Beach PX3 and the MadCatz Tritton Pro+ for around the same money. However, the Sirus-C does have some impressive specifications behind it that should give it a leading edge, most importantly being the 2.2 drives, that’s two drivers in stereo configuration and two sub woofers to give your sound extra depth and low end grunt, something that will no doubt appeal to a gaming audience.

Corsair Graphite Series 730T Case Review

As time has passed, Corsair has stood by a code of “Quality” above all else. This code has made them a leader in Computer Cases and with AIO (All in One) water cooling systems like the Hydro-series that are commonly used worldwide. The company is great with their customers after the sale as well with a winning customer service that is extremely pleasing to the end user and builds more sales by giving confidence that when someone buys a Corsair Product they are buying Quality and Reliability and that is what makes Corsair the Great Company that it is. Look for a 3 week turnaround on returns or replacement. The 730t Graphite Series case is a brand new edition to the Graphite family of Corsair cases. The 730t Full Tower case is new to the market and has not quite caught on yet but we have a feeling that this along with his big brother the 760t cases will be a hit with modders and builders alike.

DXRacer TV Lounge Chair

Although my wife would most likely argue against this, we as gamers don’t always spend all of our time at our PCs. The market for console gaming is huge and DXRacer recognized that and has jumped into the market with chair designed specifically for it. There new TV Lounge Chair shares a few features with their office chairs but the overall design is drastically different and focused specifically on living room gaming. I took the opportunity to bust out the PlayStation again and put in a little game time in the living room.

Intel Core i7-4790K (Devil's Canyon) CPU Review featuring Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5

Last month Intel launched their Z97 chipset, essentially an evolution of Z87, which in many cases brought new features such as SATA Express and M.2 compatibility to the mainstream desktop market. There was of course no new CPU at that time with the existing socket 1150 processors working without issue in the new boards. Since then though Intel launched (along with some lower spec models) the Core i7-4790K, a model which sits at the top of their mainstream platform. Today we see how it compares to various other models when installed on Gigabytes Z97X Gaming 5 and paired with PowerColors new dual core 290X Devil 13.

Lenovo ThinkPad 10 Windows 8.1 Bay Trail Tablet Review

As a followup to its ThinkPad 8 tablet, Lenovo has now incorporated Intel's Bay Trail platform into its larger ThinkPad 10, a business-ready slate the company claims can offer users a full PC experience. Stopping there would be selling this tablet a bit short, however, as it's really a multi-mode device that can serve a number of purposes, both during and after business hours. Ideally, this would negate the need to purchase separate systems for work and play.

What Lenovo's really doing here is tapping into the potential of Microsoft's Windows 8.1 ecosystem. From the beginning, Microsoft envisioned Windows 8/8.1 as a universal operating system built for work, play, and everything in between, but software will only get you so far. It's up to Microsoft's hardware partners to figure out how best to take advantage of Windows 8.1, and with the ThinkPad 10, Lenovo's answer is to accessorize the platform...

Seagate Laptop SSHD 1 TB Solid State Hybrid Drive Review

Seagate has been the foremost proponent of the SSHD - the solid state hybrid drive. It's basically the integration of a regular hard disk drive with a solid state cache. This allows them to significantly improve the performance of their hard disk drives with just a small bump in the price tag.

Seagate considers the SSHD to be superior to the Flash Cache Module (FCM) because of potential data integrity issues during power or device failures, and superior to the Dual-Drive concept because of cost reasons. That's why they are not just offering this technology in their laptop HDDs, they are also offering it in their desktop HDDs.

Today, we are going to take a look at their top SSHD model for the laptop market - the 1 TB Seagate Laptop SSHD (ST1000UM000).
