VR-Zone has posted a review on the Seagate Serial ATA Barracuda V 120GB harddisk
When you flip the drive over to its backside, you can see that the new SATA drives have different data and power connections, when comparing them to the old Parallel ATA standards. Also like mentioned before, the wires are very flexible and thin, and they will only fit one way, so the risk of damaging the drive by improper installation is almost non existent.
