Digital Silence send words that the Serial ATA 2 Specification are completed
The Serial ATA Working Group has announced that the specification for Serial ATA 2 has been completed. Serial ATA 2 offers the promise of double the theoretical speed (300MB/s vs. 150MB/s). One of the features of the enhanced technology is that no new cables and connectors are required to support the higher signaling speeds.
