Silverstone Nightjar SST-ST40NF Fanless PSU Review

Even to the most hardcore silent PC enthusiasts, a fanless power supply is often ousted as a way to power the computer. Most fanless power supplies on the market are somewhat dated models with low efficiency and enough heat to boil an egg on. Being one of the most critical components in a computer - that isn't exactly how I want to describe my power supply. This isn't an area that most manufacturers are brave enough to tinker in, so maybe only a small handful of fanless power supply models will actually hit the shelves each year. When SilverStone came out with the Nightjar series, a brand new 80PLUS Bronze certified high-efficiency fanless power supply, I just had to try it out.
