bit-tech.net has posted the third part of their NVIDIA SLI coverage today.
In this part, we evaluate the real-world gaming performance of *GeForce 6800 Std and GeForce 6600 GT in SLI*, along with a single GeForce 6800 GT on a down-clocked FX-55 (2000MHz) to represent a /typical/ CPU combination for someone with this kind of budget. We come to the conclusion that a single GeForce 6800 GT delivers the best bang-for-buck if you have roughly £300 to spend, while it also gives you the option to upgrade to a high-end SLI solution a little later down the line.
