Tom's Hardware Guide has posted a review on a 48x CD Burner from LG
The GCE-8480B is undoubtedly one of the fastest 48x/16x/48 burners on the market. Its range of features and its writing quality are impressive. However, a direct comparison with a 40x/12x/40x machine shows that the performance improvements are only marginal in terms of technology.
