While gamers will happily shell out hundreds of dollars for the latest and greatest video card or monitor, one component vital to gaming is often overlooked‚ their headphones. A speaker system can work, but for late night gaming without disturbing the rest of the house, or a LAN party, you need your own headphones. Another thing that has almost become required for online gaming is a microphone. Things like Ventrillo or TeamSpeak have become more popular, and joining them isn't fun unless you can actually contribute. A few companies have come out with headsets that meet both of these needs, but Steel Sound has come out with a new unit that may be the best one yet‚ the Steel Sound 5H.
