In order to achieve the best results with the MCX462-V, an extremely loud fan is needed which brings the noise level to that of a vacuum cleaner. However, with a fan output of less than 30 CFM, the performance of the MCX462-V is only par with other heatsinks.

Samsung 172MP
The Samsung, a refresh of the 171MP, is a slick product. It includes a TV Tuner, has inputs for RCAs, S-Video and Component. Picture in Picture mode takes a second input and overlays it on the main screen. Kind of nice to be able to watch TV or hook up the PS2 to the monitor. We were pleased with it overall even though it had a few glaring issues such as a lack of DVI and issues with slooooow input switching.
