Lazyman has published an article on Water Cooling
What is behind Water Cooling is of course the ability to reduce more HEAT. Why so much heat? May be THIS could explain better about the latest processor. There is more and more Water Cooling System being offered than ever before. A few years ago, this type of cooling was limited by a handful of die-hard DIY tweakers. If we can cool a car engine with water cooling far better than air cooling; why not apply the same to computer processor is the quest for better and more efficient cooling. Let’s not forget the thousands of air cooling engines still being used today and many more thousands are being built each year. The difference is water cooling engines have water block/water passage built inside the engine to bring the heat out while processor water cooling is bringing heat from the processor “housing” instead. The next higher step is to use refrigerated cooling called “Vapor Chill”, which is another subject all by itself.
