Tweakers Australia has posted a review on the Thermaltake GeForce4 Copper Cooler.
By now everybody should have heard of Thermaltake. They have been around for some time, most notably known for their extensive range of high quality PC cooling components, but namely CPU coolers. For a company that specializes in heatsinks, the next most natural progression would be to move into newer areas such as case cooling, hard-drive cooling, and temperature monitoring - and more recently, video card cooling. It's no coincidence that the fastest graphics-processing units (GPU) happen to get very hot, which can lead to performance degradation and overclocking losses if proper cooling precautions aren't made. When NVIDIA released their GeForce4 line of video cards, the Ti series came standard with a fairly small GPU cooler and no additional memory cooling. When it was the add-in-board manufacturers turn to build from the reference design, many didn't bother to replace the reference cooling setup, exposing the card to possible heat related threats. This is precisely the reason why Thermaltake produced the GeForce4 Copper Cooler - combining a high-speed fan, full-copper heatsink, and RAM sinks to take care of the onboard memory.
