Thermaltake Technology, along with other PC power supply unit (PSU) manufacturers, continues to look for ways to differentiate themselves from the crowd and make their products more user friendly. Two recent trends have been the inclusion of a power meter, which provides the user with visual feedback of how much electrical power their system is using and modular cables.

The new PurePower TWV 500W Total Watts Viewer power supply features a digital wattmeter mounted into a 5.25” bay panel. The power supply also incorporates modular cables that plug into the backside of the unit. In addition, the package includes two front panel fan speed controls for the PSU cooling fan and a variable speed 120mm case fan.
