Thermaltake Sonic Tower Review

RB Mods checked out the Thermaltake Sonic Tower
According to Thermaltake the Sonic Tower has 110 aluminum fins. I tried to count them but I lost somewhere in the middle where I was. :/ It's around 5cm higher than the Evercool HPC-925 we have tested, which I had problems to even get into my case becouse of the height. This is going to be a even bigger challenge, I think that I have to get some vaselin.
The copper heatpipes is formed like an "U" and soldered to the copper base which is in contact with the processor, the 110 fins are then squeesed on 50/50 on the both sides. The aluminum fins have this wave looking form.
To the left we have the bottom and to the right we have the top of the cooler. You maybe can see that "Thermalright", "Sonic Tower" and their logo is pressed on the aluminum fins and also you maybe can see the smaller holes at the top and the bottom. These are for the installation for the included fan holders so you can mount a 120mm fan. I don't understand though why Thermalright didn't send some screws with the cooler so you could screw on an optional fan that you have already at home.
