Tyan Trinity 510 Review

VIAHardware has posted a review of the Tyan Trinity 510 motherboard, which is based on the VIA P4X266 chipset.
Recently, Tyan has been getting more attention from PC enthusiasts, mainly with their Thunder K7 and Tiger MP boards, which offered up support for dual AMD CPU's - a first at that time. Today we are taking a look at the Tyan Trinity 510 - a P4X266 based product. When I first learned of this board I was quite surprised to see that Tyan was defying Intel's wishes and producing a product based on this chipset. I expected Tyan to be one of the many manufacturers to sit out this round while waiting on the results of the legal proceedings between VIA and Intel. Perhaps they were tired of Intel's scare tactics and simply went ahead and designed a board anyway. Regardless of the reasons behind it, Tyan has graciously sent me a sample board to take a look at and introduce to everyone.
