Vantec is pushing hard to become a leader in the external hard drive enclosure arena. I enjoyed reviewing their NexStar LX NAS a month ago. So far it has been a reliable drive enclosure with no network issues. That is why I was more than happy to review their new hard drive enclosure, the NexStar 3. The NexStar 3 from Vantec is a 2.5" hard drive enclosure. What is special about the NexStar 3 is that it supports SATA II as well as USB connections.
