This service release addresses the top issues that were found through feedback from customers and partners. This release includes the following features:
Cross-database references
By using this feature, you can refer to objects in different databases and reduce or eliminate related warnings for your database project.
Improved support for files and filegroups
If you install this release, you can define the files and filegroups as database project properties instead of within a pre-deployment script.
Variables
With this service release, you can also use database properties to define SETVAR variables for use in your deployment scripts.
In addition, this service release supports the Windows Vista operating system and Service Pack 2 for Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
